Wow!!! What a deep and well put together quote from Zigler. This is one the reasons why I go beyond to help ALL children no matter if they rich or poor because you never know what these children are going through. It is our right as professionals to hold ourselves accountable to make sure our children get their education no matter what the situation may be.
ReplyDeleteI agree..that is a deep quote from Zigler....it is ashame that so many children that we come in contact with year end and year out are in poverty. We just never know what these precious children face. This one reason that I like the idea of field trips and activities that give children an opportunity for learning because some children may otherwise never have them.
